Rep. Randy Frese this week spent Monday getting to know people and unique places in Cass County, an integral part of the new 99th legislative district.
“Cass County is an absolute gem. It has beautiful natural areas, historic sites, great towns, and most of all, wonderful people that I look forward to getting to know better,” Rep. Frese said.
On Monday, Rep. Frese began his day with a meet and greet in the Beardstown City Council Chambers and a visit to the historic Lincoln Courtroom Museum. He also explored the Jim Edgar Panther Creek State Fish and Wildlife area and visited with folks at the Caraway Pub in Virginia, among other stops.
“The 99th District covers a lot of territory, and my focus this summer is to meet with residents and local officials from throughout the district and hear ideas and concerns, so I can take that input back to Springfield for our fall veto session,” Rep. Frese said.
Rep Frese noted that his district office is also open to help with questions or concerns every Monday through Friday at 217.223.0833.
