We have the opportunity to provide residents with low-cost and reliable clean energy by lifting Illinois’ ban on new nuclear construction.
Rep. Frese this spring co-sponsored and helped pass SB76 that would have lifted the ban, but Governor Pritzker vetoed the bill. Rep. Frese will work with House Republican Leader Tony McCombie to override the Governor’s veto of SB76 this Fall to help Illinois meet its energy demands.
