More than half of Illinois’ state’s attorneys have joined a lawsuit to block the SAFE-T Act. A motion filed last week stated, “Because both the substance of (the Act) and the process through which it was enacted are in flagrant violation of the Illinois Constitution, this statute should be stricken as void in its entirety.” You can read more here.
